ramp := a series of colors that transition, generally in
brightness or luminousity
straight ramp := a ramp where only lighntess changes,
like a monochromatic paletter with no hue shifting. Rarely used
luminosity ramp := where brightness is replaced by
percieved brightness.
An increase in red is much more noticable than an increase in blue. There is an associated set of colors.
